Burrowing cockroach
The burrowing cockroach is an insect which looks small, but is actually quite powerful.
It has spines on its powerful legs to push itself further underground when digging tunnels up to 1 metre deep. If in sunlight for too long they can die. Their diet is dried eucalyptus, grass or dried acacia (wattle).
